Circular economy: a business no-brainer

Historically, societies have taken resources from the ground to make products, which they use, and, when they no longer want them, throw them away: this is the linear economy. However, the earth’s resources are finite, and waste and pollution are increasingly a concern.

The circular economy is a way to design, make, and use things within the planet’s limits. By designing out waste and for longer life, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural assets, resources are kept in use for as long as possible.

The circular economy is not just better for the planet, it is better for business: you make more with less. New revenue ideas come out of the resources otherwise heading for landfill, or from other circular business models like selling a product as a service, or from digitalising a product.

I can advise businesses on how to best transition to circular economy principles.

Your knowledge and skills in this field are exemplary. Thank you.
